A message from the association president

The words of the association president, Mr. Aqil Khan:

Dear friends, Assalam-o-alaikum,

The Pakistani-American community in South Jersey is a very dynamic and vibrant community with many professional and highly profiled personalities who are contributing to the growth and progress of our new homeland, USA. The Pakistan-American Society of South Jersey is playing an important and vital role in promoting Pakistan's rich cultural heritage and traditions among the local community. We strive to create a greater understanding of Pakistan's diversity and promote closer ties between the two great nations of Pakistan and United States of America.

I am delighted to receive strong support not only from the Pakistani community in South Jersey, but also from other members of the local community. It is my fervent appeal to all of you to come forward and help us build a strong bond of friendship between our two great nations and not to undertake any activity which contravenes our heritage, traditions, moral values, and social and cultural obligations.

Long live Pakistani-American friendship!

Aqil Khan
